A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.
Victoria’s Town House sits on Seckford Street, a very prestigious location in the heart of Woodbridge, close to the Thoroughfare and just around the corner from historic Market Hill with shops, cafes and The King’s Head, a 15th
century pub serving a variety of Adnams Ales and excellent classic pub food. Fen Meadow is close too, great for kids and pets as it’s predominantly a grassland meadow with a play area, cycle speedway track and small wood.
Woodbridge has an excellent range of markets, cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops as well as an independent cinema and the famous Tide Mill, a rare example of a tide mill whose water wheel still turns.
Guests can enjoy the bird life on the nearby mud flats with ‘Birds by Barge’ trips, with the anticipation of seeing an elusive avocet, provided on the River Deben by the RSPB between November and February. Woodbridge is also famous for those who enjoy sailing and is great for cycling and walking.
Woodbridge is conveniently located for exploring the Suffolk Coast and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The picturesque town of Aldeburgh is a short drive away, as is RSPB Minsmere, the fascinating historic burial ground of Sutton Hoo, the Bawdsey Peninsular and Quay with unspoilt small sandy beach.
A well-behaved dog is welcomed downstairs. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.
