You can easily see the sea from the front door of Parsley Cottage and there's a small front garden with bistro style table and couples of chairs where you can sit and soak up the sun or watch the world go by. Although there's no allocated parking you can generally find a space on one of the side streets nearby.
The front door opens directly off East Green into the sitting room with the dining room, kitchen and cloakroom beyond.
This quaint sitting room is furnished with a deep sofa and two bucket chairs with original fireplace housing a coal effect electric fire and entertainment provided with wall mounted TV and DVD player.

Wooden steps, typically steep for a period cottage, rise from the dining room to the landing with both bedrooms opening off it. Both bedrooms are carpeted.

Sitting quietly at the back of the cottage this twin room has bedside drawers, additional drawers and a funky clothes tree (hat stand style!) for hanging clothes.
Parsley Cottage sits just a few yards from the beach and has its own small seating area at the front, furnished with a bistro table and chairs, where you can sit and watch the world go by. There’s unrestricted parking directly outside the cottage or guests can usually find a parking spot in one of the nearby streets.
All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
This mid terrace self-catering holiday cottage has a TV with FreeSat, Wifi. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge (no ice compartment or freezer), gas oven and grill, gas hob with four rings and free standing microwave.
Parsley Cottage is on East Green, next door to the popular Sole Bay Inn and literally round the corner from Southwold's lovely sandy beach, adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to the iconic Pier; the historic lighthouse; and Adnams Brewery, with a pleasant whiff of malt competing with the sea air!
The holiday cottage is just a few minutes walk from Southwold high street which has a great choice of excellent restaurants and cafes, as well as a range of galleries and independent shops, including bakeries, delicatessens, butchers and convenience stores, plus many great pubs to choose from.
There is a pretty walk from the harbour over a footbridge to the picture-postcard village of Walberswick, home to two good pubs (The Anchor and The Bell) and a long sandy beach. Fresh fish can be bought from the fishermen’s huts along the harbour.
The area boasts a wide variety of attractions, amongst which are the renowned RSPB bird sanctuary Minsmere, many countryside and coastal walks.
One small (due to the size of the cottage!) dog is welcome at this holiday cottage, please stipulate the breed when you book and abide by our Terms and Conditions.
Parsley Cottage is typical of a period cottage with steps between rooms and relatively steep and narrow wooden stairs with handrail on both sides, for this reason children under the age of five are not welcome to stay here and a travel cot and high chair are not provided.
