The Dairy is a cute romantic holiday cottage located on a farm just outside the rural village of Polstead. With Sudbury and Hadleigh close by and plenty of footpaths and cycle routes, you're sure to enjoy short breaks or holidays here at at time of the year.
The Dairy is currently being updated and is due to be complete at towards the end of July 2019 when updated photos will be added.
Upon entering the cottage through the door from the courtyard, you're welcomed into the hall with the bedroom to the right, the bathroom ahead and the living/dining/kitchen space to the left.
The kitchen will be modern with the appliaces you'll need for your break away.
The living space will have a two seater sofa, coffee table and occassional tables with carefully considered lighting to creat a calm and tranquil atmosphere.
The Bathroom will have a double ended roll top bath, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
In the Bedroom guests can sleep peacefully in the king size bed, with drawers ad hanging space for your belongings.
Outside is a seperate courtyard with seating for two. The gravel drive leads to the footpath which takes you a mile or two into the quaint and pretty village of Polstead with welcoming pub, grocery store and park. There is allocated parking for one car but if you require more parking space, this can be arranged with the owners. There is a large unfenced pond in the space beyond the garden so please keep an eye on your four legged friends here.
All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
This self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating and WiFi. Full details of appliances will be added when the renovatin work is complete.
The village of Polstead is located in South Suffolk not far from the Essex / Suffolk boarder. The village its self has a welcoming local pub called The Cock Inn which is a shot walk through ancient woods and fields from Sprotts Farm. Just a little further past the pub is a large playing field with children’s play equipment and a skate park.
For days out the historic town of Colchester is less than 30 minutes drive and with large shopping centres, independent shops, cafes, restaurants and a castle there’s plenty to do. Don’t miss the fantastic Zoo and leisure centre, which are both fabulous for children and adults.
You’re also close to Dedham Vale, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The characteristic lowland English landscape made famous worldwide by artists such as Constable and Gainsborough is still recognisable today. The charm of the villages, fascinating local attractions and beauty of the surrounding countryside mean there’s no shortage of places to go and things to see.
If you're after a day out at the seaside then Frinton on Sea is perfect for groups of adults and young families. Less than an hour away there are clean sandy beaches, lots of parking and plenty of green spaces for playing and picnics.
A well behaved dog is welcome. Please provide the breed of your dog at the time of booking.
There is a large pond in the garden beyond the fence from the footpath which leads to the village through woodland and fields. There is a fence but it's post and rail so please be vigilant with dogs.
The courtyard is separated by trellis from the neighbouring courtyard and open at the front which has a little lawn beyond the path.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer.
