The owners of Sawyers Cottage have renovated to a very high standard, with a boutique hotel style throughout and giving each room it's own character.
From the street or the allocated parking at the rear, you're welcomed into a courtyard garden which has been beautifully landscaped with nature and wildlife in mind. Enter the cottage into the hall which leads left to the ground floor bedroom and right to the kitchen, living room and stairs.
Kitchen / Dining Room
A bright double aspect room with cream gloss kitchen units and stone worktops. Kitchen appliances include an eye level double oven, integrated four ring ceramic hob with extractor over, full size fridge/freezer, integrated dishwasher and a washing machine.
The dining space sits at the front of the cottage with a large extendable oak and grey painted table with six chairs. Guests can enjoy lazy lunches and jolly suppers in this fabulous space with carefully considered lighting and thoughtfully designed furnishings.
Located across the hall from the kitchen is the living room where groups can relax, share memories, choose from a wide selection of games or simply watch the 48" smart TV beside the bronze wood burner. A versatile room with large windows to the front and rear of the cottage and doors leading out to the courtyard. Furnishings include two x three seater sofas, an arm chair and a toning swivel chair.
Ground Floor Bedroom
Located to the left of the front door with views over the garden through the wide windows, the ground floor bedroom is furnished with a king size bed. A door at the back of bedroom leads to the en suite shower room.
Ground Floor En Suite Shower Room
With a large shower, WC and basin, this en suite shower room is suitable for guests with more restricted mobility.
Carpeted stairs rise to the landing which leads to the two further bedrooms and the family bathroom in the middle.
A huge double aspect room with windows overlooking the garden and the park, plenty of storage space and an en suite shower room. The owners have dressed the room beautifully with neutral soft carpet, roman blinds and cushions. You'll sleep soundly in the luxury super king size bed with crisp white linen.
En Suite Shower Room
A great benefit to the cottage, this new en suite has a corner shower, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.
Positioned centrally on the landing, this newly fitted family bathroom has a bath with shower over and glass screen, a WC and hand basin with vanity unit.
To the right at the top of the stairs you'll find another good sized bedroom with twin 3'0 beds. With storage options in drawers and a wardrobe, this bright and spacious room offers comfort and flexibility for two adults or children. Again, the owners have carefully selected the fixtures and soft furnishings.
Entrance into the garden at Sawyers Cottage can be through the gate at the front or around the side at the back where the allocated parking is. Unrestricted parking is also available on the road. The garden is fully enclosed, secure and is surrounded by raised beds planted with a variety of cottage style shrubs and plants to encourage wildlife. There is a large brick paved area outside the living room and ground floor bedroom with lounge seating, cushions and a table. Guests can make the most of this super sunny spot whilst dining at the lovely table and chairs for six to the rear of the cottage.
Guests can store bikes and beach equipment in the garage.
All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
Unique to Sawyers Cottage, the owners provide Molton Brown shower/bath gel and hand wash in the bathrooms.
This self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating and appliances include a smart TV and Wifi. The kitchen will be well equipped with a double oven, ceramic hob with extractor over, integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
A high chair is available from the property owners on request at the time of booking. Guests are welcome to bring their own travel cot.
Wangford is perfectly placed to offer families and friends a great holiday experience in a newly refurbished Suffolk cottage, with beach and other coastal days out only a few miles away. Just three miles from the extremely popular town of Southwold with sandy beaches, independent shops and restaurants.
Explore Wangford and enjoy a meal on the Angel Inn, pop in to the local village store and entertain the children at the play park, just opposite the cottage.
Bigger days out can include Africa Alive only 15 minutes drive. Set in 100 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside, Africa Alive has five species of African savannah animals including giraffes and lions. The park is also home to some rather amazing primates including bushbabies and the rare golden-bellied mangabeys. There are great indoor and outdoor adventure play areas as well as restaurants, free parking and a gift shop.
If you like a theme park, try Pleasurewood Hills with over 35 rides and only few miles away. With rides for little children, families and thrill rides for the adrenaline junkies, Pleasurewood Hills promises an action packed outing for everyone.
If you'd prefer to head in land into rural Suffolk for a walk in the woods or perhaps a trip to Framlingham with the castle on the hill, Sawyers Cottage in Wangford is a wonderful base to return to at the end of a busy day.
Sawyers Cottage allows up to two dogs which must be included at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
