Millicent House at Aldeburgh

“Lovely house in a fantastic location, we all felt at home. House is very well equipped and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. Great garden for the kids and dog. We loved H & J for delicious ice creams and coffee, Slate for deli bits, The Golden Galleon for fish & chips and the pub for outdoor pizzas and a pint! Great visit crabbing in Walberswick and lovely lunch at the Anchor pub.”

“Great house, well equipped. Lots of lovely little touches, beds are so comfy, location is great for town and seafront. Went on circular walk through campsite to House in the Clouds and back on Seafront – 4 miles, lovely walk. Fish and chips are worth a try. Definitely would come back, 5 Star!”

“Thank you very much for the lovely stay! This was an amazing house to stay in. Very good garden and very close to town we had some wonderful walks and the beds were very comfortable, we will come again!”

“What a wonderful home from home, a delightful house, perfect for our stay, great walk along the site of the old railway track to the Thorpeness delicious Kitchen restaurant. Also tasty fish finger sandwich in the Mill Inn! Fabulous service, welcome and food in the Lighthouse. A lovely stay with great friends”

“This has been a very enjoyable holiday for all the family, of all ages. The children gained much pleasure from the selection of games, while we adults have been impressed by the thoughtfulness and planning that has gone into this well-appointed comfortable house. Thank you very much”

“A lovely house, which we have really enjoyed. First time to Aldeburgh to stay, but it won’t be the last – our previous visit to Suffolk was Walberswich. Enjoyed dinner at both the Lighthouse (twice) and the Regatta. Visited Southwold, Thorpeness and had a lovely lunch at the Sole Bay Fish Company on the Estuary at Southwold – a must for shellfish lovers! House and garden perfect for us, nicely enclosed for the dog and the patio is a real sun trap. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay – Thank you!”
